With inflation rising to unprecedented levels and expectations of further monetary tightening, the deep out of the money call options that I had purchased look worthless now. Though, there is a month to go for the options to expire, I have my doubts over Nifty showing a pull back.
We are so very deeply hinged to [...]

While one Pundit (affiliated to the in-laws) argues that a “certain” ritual needs to be observed between 5:30 PM and 9 PM, the other Pundit (affiliated to us) refutes the claim. [...]

No, I did not get a chance to see the movie. But this is “one of a kind” review which I wanted to share. Some excerpts:
“There are good movies. There are bad movies. There are movies so bad they’re good (though, strangely, not the reverse). And once in a while there is a movie so [...]

I am going to Matheran, on foot from Neral, this Saturday. There are a few others too. We want to make sure this is just the beginning of our Monsoon-08 trekking season, hence the easy one (hopefully) first. Anyone interested?

The Internet connection at our flat is awful!! I do not have recorded statistics, but I am more than 100% (:D) sure that the uptime will not be more than 70%. The amount I spend on making calls to the service guys is soon going to be most of my monthly telephone bill. I prefer [...]
